I come from a Mennonite family, meaning I'm a pacifist. My likes and interests do not reflect my behaviour. I'm not actually violent.
I've been diagnosed with A.D.H.D. (kind of obvious), Learning Disabilities, and Asperger Syndrome, as well as asthma, allergies, anemia and sleep apnea. Asperger Syndrome, for those who do not know, is a form of autism. So I'm autistic, and yes, that flickering light is f*cking annoying, and no, I'm not a math genius. Welcome to Autism Spectrum. I'm Neko Baka Z, although I've been known as Zika_Silver1 in some circles. I'm an English Honours Major, in Creative Writing and Fine Art, as well as a webcomic artist and writer. You can see from my interests list I'm into fantasy, anime and manga, music and various crafts, such as knitting. I also play a little DnD and the occasional video game. Right now I'm addicted to Okami, thanks to my roomies.
I'd like to study mythology and folk tales a bit more, and maybe some day I'll get the time to do so. Right now I've started to collect various religious texts, intending to read them some time. Unfortunately, school and day-to-day life has me busy, which is also why I don't update/post/comment/check my flist as much as I used to. I dream of the day where I can sit down and pretty much read whatever I want, in the interests of researching for my next book. At least I know I'm slightly delusional, eh?
Over the years, I've matured a bit. Sort of. Maybe. Or maybe my writing's gotten better. But don't let my inconsistent updating and lack of complete silliness fool you. I still bounce off the walls (literally), still consume waaaaaaaaaay too much sugar and still am unable to completely express the full extent of my hyperactivity online. According to some, I'm "pyscho-genki, which is really scary in real life". I suppose that's why I get the "OMG!! THE WORLD IS DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMED!" when I hold up any significant amounts of sugar/caffeine objects. ^.^
